Sheet Metal Installer
A & B Mechanical Contractors, Inc. has an opening for an experienced HVAC Installer. We are seeking an individual with at least 2 years of commercial and residential HVAC sheet metal experience. Join our diversified services company offering Commercial, Industrial and Residential Plumbing, HVAC-R, and Electrical services.
Qualifications:
-
2 years minimum commercial and residential sheet metal experience.

Ability to read a blueprint.

Ability to measure and layout duct work.
-
Experience installing roof top units and air handlers
-
Highly motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude.

Confident and responsible working independently.

Knowledge and the ability to make on-the-job diagnosis.

Ability to fully understand and implement all job safety requirements.

Physical demands include the ability to safely lift 50 pounds or more.

Valid Michigan Driver’s License.

Mechanical aptitude with willingness to assist with Plumbing and Electrical trades.
HVAC Residential Installer
A & B Mechanical Contractors, Inc. has an opening for a HVAC Residential Installer. This individual must have at least two years of experience in residential HVAC installation. Commercial experience is beneficial, but not required. Join our diversified services company offering Commercial, Industrial and Residential Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical services.
Qualifications:

Two years of experience in residential installation, including new construction.

EPA 608 Certification Type 2 or Universal

Some experience in light commercial HVAC installation helpful.

Ability to read blueprints and drawings

Ability to measure, size and layout duct from blueprints and drawings.

Ability to install various types of HVAC ductwork.

Ability to adhere to job safety requirements.

Physical demands include the ability to safely lift 50 pounds or more.

Valid Michigan driver’s license.

Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
